“ Solo may be the perfect coffee shop. Plenty of space and seating to meet your needs. There are also several rooms you can reserve for private meetings or studying. They also have pool tables in the event you want to play pool outside of a bar setting. I recently tried the Sonshine (banana bread latte) and was blown away. Keep Sozo in mind when you're looking for a great coffee shop. ”
“ This place is so cool inside. There are study rooms (which I've never seen in a coffee shop before), an art gallery, soooo much seating, a stage, pool tables, and just so much space for activities. The coffee was good and they had so many flavors too. Service was also really good. This is definitely a hidden gem of the area ”
“ Great place to go and have a great coffee Best of luck to you Chad I hope to be back in Omaha sometime to come to SoHo again ”
“ Sozo is a great coffee shop to either grab a drink to go, hang out with friends, or hole up for hours to get work done! I favor it when I want to be productive because there is an insane amount of seating (mixture of sofas and tables) as well as private study rooms for rent. It's located in a basement, which is cool for a bit of a different vibe. I've really enjoyed every drink I've tried here, including their strawberry matcha latte. Their menu is extensive, so there is something for everyone, whether you want a classic or a fun seasonal drink. The service has also always been awesome and the baristas are keen to recommend drinks if you're indecisive. Stop by if you're in the old market area! ”
“ Sozo Coffeehouse has to be my favorite place in downtown Omaha to get a coffee and study. This is a one of a kind coffee shop to me where there are pool tables, study rooms, a stage, lots of places to sit, SO many syrup flavors to choose from, and lots of events. There is also lots of art displayed which you can purchase which I love! My favorite spot to sit is on one of their comfy couches. They also have a conference room as well as other options of renting space inside! I love the lights on the ceiling in the main seating area. There is free wifi to use for studying, working, or whatever else you may need wifi for (network name and password are included in my photos). I have seen that they have open mic nights, salsa nights, movie showings, and more events! The service has always been great even when super busy. I wish that they had their events on their website as well information about how amazing this place is on their website ( the get involved tab has a default description not relevant to their business). I truly love coming to Sozo with classmates and friends. Their white chocolate latte is very good! If you are in downtown Omaha and want some good coffee or tea, Sozo is the place to be! ”
“ Sozo is one of my favorite coffee shops in town! It is the perfect place for studying, catching up with a friend, or doing some work. The space is very large and there is always plenty of seating from my experience. They are also open later than most coffee shops around town which is a huge plus! Their coffee is great and there are endless flavors to choose from. Definitely recommend this place! ”
“ Sozo coffeehouse had a lot more "depth"than I expected! This basement style coffeehouse had a large spot with many rooms, corners, and little nooks to read, study, or get together with friends. Coffee was an average, and it was near empty, but the atmosphere cued me in that it had many secrets to tell. The service was friendly but not overly chatty, which is my ideal exchange for morning coffee energy. I also learned what SOZO means... ”
“ The ambiance here is wonderful. It felt cozy and warm, very inviting. The barista was also very helpful and friendly! Plus the food and drinks were perfect! ”
“ LOVE THIS PLACE! We stopped here because we had time to kill and saw that this place had couches and games. First it's underground which is cool on its own lol and it had a very chill comfy vibe. We played Farkle, had some coffee and just hung out. If we weren't from out of town I'd probably be at this place at least once a week! ”
“ Great garden level (you go downstairs to the basement of a building) coffee shop! The atmosphere is welcoming and the baristas are friendly (not something I'm used to coming from MN lol). The coffee was incredibly affordable and tasted great, I went simple with an iced breve with maple and it did not disappoint. It had a dark roast coffee forward flavor which I really appreciated! The menu is a bit hard to read, but has lots of great options. The hot chocolate was rather meh, typical of a place that specializes in coffee. There were people there studying, playing board games, and playing pool, yet there would've been plenty of room for us to sit and stay awhile too, this place is huge. We'll definitely be back when we are in Omaha again! ”
